Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. (SST) provides the most advanced integrated flash technology. For consumer, industrial and automotive industries, SST develops, produces, licenses and distributes a broad range of SuperFlash® proprietary and patented memory technology solutions. SST in 1989 was established. In 1995 SST was released (NASDAQ:SSTI), and in April 2010, Microchip Technology bought it. SST currently operates in San Jose, California, and is a completely owned Microchip subsidiary.
