The Analog Front End is an analog circuit that connects signal detection devices such as sensors and digital signal processing devices such as microcontrollers.
Analog signals detected by sensors etc. are weak and often contain many noise components. Therefore, it is difficult to directly use an A/D converter to convert the signal into a digital signal. Therefore, a role is needed to condition the analog signal output by the sensor. That's a mock front end. Because of its effect, it is sometimes called a signal conditioning circuit.
